The camera is operated by a push switch similar to a flashlight, and the cord on the remote control is long enough to operate longer weapons such as sniper rifles. To turn on the camera, press the push switch until the green light turns on. To start recording, simply press the switch again until the light starts flashing. There is a selector switch to change the recorder mode to a camera and each press of the switch will take a picture. Recording gameplay has never been easier. The ICU is compatible with micro SD cards between 8GB and 32GB, and the rechargeable lithium battery lasts for about an hour of video recording.
