Not only are ceramic ball bearings lighter and faster than its steel counterpart, but with a smoother surface, it emits less friction and heat build-up. This reduction in thermal signatures helps avoid costly breakdowns in upgraded gearboxes.
Features:
- Easier. The ceramic ball is lighter than the steel ball. This means that the ball exerts less force outwards against the outer raceway as the bearing rotates. This reduction in outward force reduces friction and rolling resistance, greatly reducing heat build-up.
- Harder. The ceramic ball is harder than the steel ball. This gives you a bearing that lasts up to 10 times longer than the steel ball bearing because it holds its finish better.
- 7 balls have been chosen which gives less centrifugal force from each ball compared to larger 6 ball version = less heat and track wear in high speed conditions.
